The remains of 32 Russian soldiers rest under this red star, far away from home. In the next village we were again reminded of the past by a street dedicated to the Soviet cosmonaut and hero Juri Gagarin. We've seen quite a few Karl-Marx-Alleen on this trip, but this was the first Gagarin!
