Besides flat tyres Kaisa's been complaining about a strange noise coming from her bike chain when pedaling with certain gears. When we saw a small, quiet bike shop in Kremmen today we decided to stop and see if they could help.
It turned out that the little piece of metal holding the back derailleur in place was slightly bent, probably because of a crash or in transit, and needed to be replaced. Luckily we always travel with these parts with us since the incidents that took place on the road to Murmansk in 2011, so Kaisa only needed to run out and have Leka fish it out of the big bag. And so we were once again ready to continue.
