On Sunday afternoon we went kayaking with almost everyone at the retreat on nearby river Bobr. The night was thunderous and the morning rainy, but as we lifted the small two-person kayaks in the water the sun came out. We had a wonderful time kayaking and swimming in the fast-flowing river surrounded by low-hanging tree branches - quite a different experience than sea kayaking in the wind-beaten Finnish archipelago!
