6 + 6 + 6

When we arrived at the retreat last week Kaisa had a small (but painful) abrasion on her left knee and decided to take it easy for the first days to avoid more serious issues. Now the skin's finally healed and we were able to go out for a spin.

There are beautiful small roads in the hilly Lower Sileasian area where the retreat is held, and Christoffer had already explored them last week with our friends. Kaisa was quite impressed with the views and the topography of the ride: 6 kilometers downhill, 6 kilometers flat and 6 kilometers uphill.

We even saw a local road cyclist who overtook us as if we were small children on three wheels. But that was on the flat part, so it wasn't as embarrassing as if it had happened on the big hill.
