June 9th, 2013. The mosquitos being ubiquitous we have perfected our morning schedules. We now prepare breakfast, but enjoy it in the comforts of our inner tent where no bugs can get to us.
Weather-wise it is another perfect day. Warm and nice without being scorchingly hot. Only some 20 kilometers to go this day, but the roads leave a bit to be desired. Though it needs to be mentioned that our subjective views are that the road is getting a bit better as we approach Jyskyjärvi. Still there is no need for self deception, as conditions may well take a turn for the worse as we pass the next corner.
The topography is also becoming more flat, and we are seeing more swamps during our cycling. These are views we don’t exactly run into during our rides back home.
Distance covered: circa 21 kilometers.
