On the road from Vartius we once more had the good fortune of being
blessed with sunshine and a not too heavy headwind. Somehow the journey back
home has a bittersweet feel to it.
On the
other hand the prospect of getting to one of those local supermarkets with
abundant shelves filled with all that we had been missing during our stay in
Russia gave us the motivation we needed to pedal.
