The Grenen at Skagen
We woke up early(ish) and went to see Grenen, the sandy and windy tip of the Skagen peninsula. We were just about to reach the tip to enjoy the sounds of the waves and the pristine nature when we were interrupted by two Sandormen beach buses parking next to us. A large group of tourists exited each bus and started to enthusiastically snap photos of the beach and of each other.
We managed to get a few shots where we could pretend to be alone on the beach and then gave up and climbed on the Sandormen together with the other tourists. Let's face it: you can always take a romantic walk on the beach, but how often do you get to ride a beach bus pulled by a tractor?
